These pages are intended to help you.  However, they do not save you from having to do anything!  Make sure that you make good use of them.  Don’t assume that if you print loads of stuff from this site, you’ve done loads of work - you haven’t.  Make notes from these pages, rather than printing them out, or use them to check your notes against.  

Having said that, you may want to print this one out: it’s a pdf guide to the AS course, showing what’s covered in each unit and how it’ll be assessed.

Do check out the frameworks hub (in the links above) - frameworks are absolutely crucial in Language AS (& A2) work and you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle if you get to grips with them sooner rather than later.  These pages will help to remind you of which features belong to which framework, and to explain some of the trickier points.  There are also reminders of how to use framework terms in different kinds of work (e.g. mode, child language, representation).
